Vail at a slower pace
Village walks, Gore Creek and the alpine gardens create a pause between arrival and the next mountain road.

Ready-to-adapt journey
A mountain road journey through Colorado’s resort towns, historic places and high-country landscapes.
The route runs from Denver through Vail, Aspen, Crested Butte and Buena Vista before returning to Denver. It balances scenic drives with time to experience each place, rather than treating the journey as a series of transfers.
Days 1–2
Arrive in Denver, travel into the Rockies and take time for Vail’s village, mountain setting and slower resort rhythm.
Days 3–4
Continue via Glenwood Springs to Aspen, with time for Maroon Bells and the town’s galleries, boutiques and mountain landscape.
Days 5–8
A scenic high-country section through Crested Butte and Buena Vista leads back to Denver. Road and weather conditions are checked for the travel dates.
